I have used a stainless steel torque as a base with blue felt wrapped and bound by a multi-colour ladder weave yarn, then blue and red miyuki seed beads have been sewn into the felt/ribbon. very different, individual, stylised necklace which fastens at the rear with an inter-locking clip. The necklace circle measures 18 inches. 

Pictures don't do this torque justice, it is simple but very pretty! 

There is another similar in blue in my shop.
